The X1 and Z1 combo is a killer modular setup. The X1 handles decks and effects, while the Z1 gives you a proper mixer with EQs and a filter. The effects section is impressive – delay, reverb, flanger, you name it. Both units feel solid and connect via USB, plus the Z1 has RCA outputs for monitors. Pitching tracks is smooth with the touch strips. The only downside is that it's still plastic, and the slim form factor can feel cramped in a cluttered booth.
